GAME OPEN - INTRO MINGLE
| INTRO MINGLE: BOUNTIFUL BUFFET | ||
![]() | NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK
New arrivals will continue trickling in as time goes on, always arriving close enough to the Obsidian Fieldlands base camp to be spotted and shepherded back to the safety of Jubilife, or in the vicinity of a material-gathering party who can gather them up as well. Characters are given a spare set of clothes once they arrive at the village. It's usually something resembling a casualwear kimono and trousers, fitted to them specifically.

| PLANNING PHASE | ![]() | |
| As the new arrivals begin to show up in force, the Galaxy Team's leader, Kamado, makes more and more visits to the Wallflower. Soon after, the Wallflower's chef and owner puts out a call for help: Ingredients, of all varieties, and extra hands that can prepare and cook food. It seems a big buffet is in the works - and the whole village is invited! OOC NOTES: ❧ The in game length of the gathering, prep, and meal phases totals 4 days, but feel free to thread well beyond that. ❧ Wildcards and additional prompts are absolutely encouraged here! ❧ Characters who arrived during the TDM may consider those threads canonical to the game if they wish. ❧ Have fun! | ||

![]() | GATHERING PHASE (DAYS 1-3)
The request goes out in the early morning on Friday: Ingredients! Food items! As much as you can carry! The reward, the green haired maestro of cooking assures you, will come in time. Though if you can’t be convinced to work for free, he’ll turn over some coin with minimal grumpy mumbling. The ingredients he’s looking for are all easy to locate in the Obsidian Fieldlands - a variety of berries, the ever sweet combs of Dazzling Honey, and the savory Springy Mushrooms that grow at the bases of trees. There are other herbs and plants on the list as well, so feel free to make some up as you go.

| MEAL PREP PHASE (DAYS 3-4) | ![]() | |
| As loath as he is to admit that he needs help, Beni is allowing folks into his kitchen to slice, dice, and sauteé in preparation for the big day! Ingredients need to be washed, sorted, prepared, and stored safely. Wood needs to be chopped for the cooking fires. New additions to the pantry are still being accepted. Whatever you can contribute helps, Beni assures everyone. If you’re feeling like there’s too many cooks in the kitchen, tables and benches need to be set up outside. The tables inside need to be washed and set up as well. Decorations are discussed - maybe some colorful lanterns or banners…? | ||

![]() | FEAST (DAY 4) | |
When the day comes, tables and benches are set up in front of Galaxy Hall and filled to the brim with food. Rice, great big hotpots of ramen, plate after plate of mochi - potato or otherwise - and a truly incredible selection of clay pots containing quality teas, brewed fresh for the occasion. And that’s just scratching the surface! Between the Agriculture Corps tireless work on harvesting food and all the new arrivals’ hard fought spoils, the feast is truly grand.

| GOOD OMENS (NIGHT) | ![]() | |
| After the feast, as night begins to fall over the village, characters may look up to see that in the clear starry sky, a meteor shower has begun. The shooting stars come in all colors, too, filling the night with a cheerful rainbow incandescence. Locals stop and point, the superstitious among them exclaiming that this is a good omen. A sign that things are looking up. They say there’s an old legend about this sort of meteor shower - that if you make a wish on the colorful streaks in the sky, it just might come true... | ||

Emporio Alniño | JJBA: Stone Ocean | AMNESIA CHILD (Prompts Below)
NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK/DAY 1 (Prompts Underlined)
(Maybe he actually did go to medical. Maybe someone will visit him there first.)
As it stands the boy wakes up relatively quick- despite all appearances, it's as if he was already well on the way to recovery. Unfortunately, he can't say what caused the injury to begin with.
(Guesses are Pokémon. He claims he doesn't know what those are.)
In fact, beyond his name- with hesitance- he doesn't seem to know anything at all.
(Which to be fair, might be a good reason to not know what a Pokémon is.)
There's not much to be done beyond that however. And he looks about the age of someone useful, maybe. Probably. It's up for debate. Discussion. He had a pokéball to begin with, there's a pokemon in it-
(A good amount of time after being shown his current- temporary?- room, is spent staring at it in confusion. Roommates or people coming to the wrong room will definitely see that.)
In the end he's just...lost, really. Peering quietly around a doorframe or a wall in borrowed clothes, a pokeball tucked quietly inside his shirt.
Could be anywhere really. Wherever it is he's trying- to relative success- to not be seen.
Wrong room!

he's gotten boredhe's tired of lugging chairs and tables around. He was thinking of telling Beni he was done and going off to work on a new invention. Surely, he would be more useful in figuring out how to warp iron ore as opposed to struggling and moving furniture. But instead of Beni he finds Lillie, her hands covered in honey. Hey, Lillie! Mind if I sit here?

Yuzu Hiiragi +3 others | Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V
[1] New
[ Alright, full disclosure... Yuzu wasn't exactly ecstatic about the idea of ending up in another dimension again. Yet, here she is...KidsGirls on the Block (Day 1-2)She's at least a little glad that there may be some time nonsense going on... she'd rather her dad doesn't worry himself to death for the second time. Though... she is admittedly upset at the same time about her friends and family not knowing she's gone.
Well, she's at least not completely alone in terms of others from her world. A little perk that comes with having three other girls inside your head... for better or worse. You may catch her in the apartment she's now sharing, or even just at the wallflower just... sitting there, her eyes closed and her eyebrows creased in mild frustration like she's thinking really hard.
Then, suddenly... ]
Of course I'm trying!!
[ If she's at the wallflower, she now has to deal with the various glances and stares directed her way... along with any whispers questioning her state-of-mind. If she's in the apartment, at the very least all she'll have to deal with is looking like a crazy girl to you. ]
Clearly not enough! Nothing's changed!
N-Now now... it's not like this was going to work on our first try...
We get that, but...
[ Oh how much more sense it would make to others if they could hear the voices in her head. She can't really complain about anything they're saying... they're their own people with their own lives, and they want to be able to move around in a body again... not just as a voice in Yuzu's head. She understands that and she's been trying her best, but...
They just don't know where to start on learning how to swap control. ]
[2] Gathering Phase (Day 2-3)
[ One good thing about having three other souls inside yourself... somehow, it's pretty much like having multiple sets of eyes. Good luck sneaking up on her when she basically has eyes on the back of her head. ]...those rocks just moved.
Huh!? It's just a bunch of rocks, they can't just move on their own!
But they did! I saw it!
Now, now...
[ ...okay so it isn't foolproof, Yuzu thinks, but whatever. She turns around to face the rocks the girls are bickering about now, and... ]
Ah...
[ She caught it just as they moved... three rocks with eyes. ]
...oh right, didn't one of the Security Corps members warn us to watch out for moving rocks? Called geo... something.
[ Geodude is what they're called, and yeah, that would've been nice to remember like... two seconds ago. Because now Yuzu is... ]
KYAAAAAH!!
[ ...running downhill while the three Geodudes chase her using Rollout. Of course, at a downhill trajectory, the Geodudes are going to catch up no matter how fast she runs... so she does try to think of something, but instead her head is suddenly flooded with the panicked voices of Ruri and Rin... plus Serena shouting options like some kind of coach. ]
[3] Good Omens (Night 4)
[ Whoa... a colorful meteor shower... Yuzu's never seen anything like this, and judging by the feelings of the other girls inside her head, they're just as amazed. ]A good omen, huh...?
[ She wishes for the health and safety of all her friends and family back home... and wishes that she'll be able to see them again. She can probably guess what the other girls are wishing too, but she doesn't ask.
Instead, she makes another wish... that she'll be able to help them regain some of the life they had stolen away from them.
As she stares up at the shooting stars, her bracelet starts to faintly glow... growing stronger by the second. On top of this, her hair and eyes start to change... almost like LED lighting, shifting from pink to blue, from blue to green, from green to purple, and from purple to pink...
She seems to be in some kind of trance. ]

You know how it is with wildcards! Plot with me at1!

Reach | Original
Well, that was an odd one. Reach, fully suited from head-to-toe, had arrived in the Fieldlands like everyone else, after having spoken to some manner of divinity that apparently did not realize that Reach in particular was anything but "[its] child". From there they picked up what few goodies this Arceus had sent with them and promptly set about some recon. Recon which, inevitably, led to a member of the Security Corps noticing them and giving them the same introductions they would end up giving many, many more people who had just been through the same exact spiel and dropping-out-of-the-sky.
They would also receive the same scrutinies and explanations in the village, things that Reach at least received with little to no attention. At the same time, they would be exploring elsewhere, projecting a perfect copy of themself to survey the outside of Kamado's headquarters as much as they could with an apparently much more limited range of motion and awareness. It's bad enough that when you come into the front door, they don't even notice you're coming until you've somewhat coarsely bumped shoulders.
"A-Ah, sorry. I'm, uh...distracted?"
II. MEAL PREP PHASE
After a solid amount of time spent babysitting out in the wild and helping handle anybody who was clueless or ambitious enough to get on the bad side of the local wildlife (thank goodness they were gifted with a companion that is already fairly capable of handling herself) as per their apparent new local assignment, Reach decides to stop in at the kitchen to see how one old man intends to make use of the mountain of ingredients their peers have been collecting together.
And, apparently, it's not going to be one old man. Some are already helping out and, since they need a change of pace anyway, Reach decides to volunteer to pitch in. They've done more cooking than most worldly experts across all their travels, after all; how hard can it be to watch an learn for a little bit and then help out with the prep?
Hard, apparently. Their head is still jumbled, not quite as much as it would have been without some help from that Arceus, but the strange cuisines of previous destinations is making this whole effort a much greater ordeal than they had thought.
"Oh, line me up, I need to put the mushrooms...ehh..." They're standing in front of the wastebasket with some perfectly good, already sliced mushrooms cupped in their gloved hands, looking around like a...well, like an alien who's never seen a Hisuian kitchen before.
III. GOOD OMENS
Having finally allowed themself to stop doing work for the Corps for the day, it's time to act casual for a bit and get some rest. The reward tonight is quite sweet, too, a clear sky filled with stars with...something streaking down through it in a range of colors they actually aren't sure they've seen much, if at all.
They're seated on the grass where some people have already gathered, letting their Mimikyu play with their hands in their lap as Reach watches the heavens. Lots of Toin have a certain fondness for space, as it tends to bear a certain hazy, muddled memory of home, and is by far perhaps the single most consistent thing across worlds. It's not all Limbo up there, of course; they've encountered a few of the agents who actually have a more proper claim to all of that before. But it's some comfort nonetheless.
It's in that comfort that they start to actually ponder a few things.
"I wonder what those are. Normally debris all burns the same color when it hits the atmosphere, doesn't it? 'Cause it's all from the same thing?"
Khhhhyuuu. Mimikyu's decoy head wobbles a little as she gives her cryptic comment on the question.
IV. WILDCARD!

It's not until Yuga goes into the Wallflower to grab some flowers from the kitchen does he realise something's up.
"Twozo... am I crazy?"
The Rotom in question gives a loud shriek in response, confirming that they indeed see Reach again, though with the chopped mushrooms at hand. Immediately, Yuga forgets the decorations he came in for and heads outside, confirming he isn't hallucinating and there's... two of them?
He's not finding the third, that's for sure.It takes Yuga an extra moment of staring to realise that Reach is trying to figure out how to use the knife and his head spins at the absurdity of it all."Uhhh... didn't I just see you in the kitchen?" Yuga asks, finally approaching Reach properly.

Kravitz | TAZ
[Adjusting to a new (after)life is something Kravitz has done before, albeit in his own universal planar system. This. This is new. He's not sure what to make of it, and that's uncomfortable, but at least he has a room (though the pun is lost on him) and clothes. Food's largely irrelevant, but he does try some. It's alright. He doesn't know how to use chopsticks, and that's hardly the most confounding piece of cutlery.
No, that would be Wedge, as he's taken to calling the oddly ghostly teacup that follows him around when not in their ball. It's a complicated relationship at best. However, he makes do, and explores the village with Wedge safely tucked in their living space. So odd, that these things can shrink...]
2 - Food run
[Though Kravitz doesn't know much about this place, that doesn't stop him from going out for ingredients. Leeks seem common, and he can easily be found trying to pull them himself. Gardening is... not his best skill, though, and they seem to wither slightly at his chilly touch.]
3 - Doin' his best.
[Kravitz is no chef, but he's a dab hand with a blade, and orchestrates some organizational assists. It's a symphony of actions, and he conducts himself with dignity... Until he trips over a bench and loses an armful of sacks of rice and potatoes. Oops.]
4 - Feasting's less than likely
[As a ghost, Kravitz doesn't exactly need to eat, but he's not sure how ghostly he actually is here; The hunger pangs have been real. Still, though, he eats like a bird, slowly and daintily.]
5 - A little night music
[Sitting in room 4, watching the meteor shower, Kravitz feels... oddly peaceful, really. He looks over when the door opens, though, a slight wariness creeping across his visage.]
5
[ That's exactly what's not waiting for this Toin, though. Instead they see...huh. Here's someone they've been curious about, albeit only in the recessed of their thrice-divided attentions back at the Wallflower. They have no inkling just yet on his status as a ghost, or as a former ghost, or whatever he may be, but they do know he carries himself with a very familiar poise and purpose. If not for the obvious indications to the contrary, he could almost pass for a Toin himself by manner alone, and that's a fact that puts them just the tiniest bit on edge. ]
[ They visibly deflate, just a tiny bit more than their already drained countenance. ] Oh. Are you my roomie, then?

Oh, little ol' me is out here all by his lonesome, not being adored by anyone, what a shame...
[And then Kravitz gets a big ol wink his direction, with that smooth but surprisingly genuine smile. For Taako, he's expecting some slightly different memories in that head of his. And for Kravitz, well, it sure looks like Taako-- just with one more death tucked in there for some reason. Hmmmm. Who knows why that's there!]

Huff Runda | Original
1: New Kids on the block
Huff had not had a peaceful night. The grating pretension of the elven elite and the ongoing difficulties of a hunt for a man who could very well be anywhere had rendered her restless. For this reason, it did not immediately surprise her that she would have strange dreams. In this case it appeared that some form of, very powerful deer, was telling her some important information about the cycle of nature and life. At another time this monologue might have been academically interesting to Huff, but the events immediately following it rendered the point entirely moot.
Huff was looking at the sky. That was, odd, to say the least. Had the roof dissapeared, or was she still dreaming. A number of possibilities swam through her still somewhat bleary mind, culminating in her groggily calling out to Adrian to ask if they had been kidnapped somehow. The lack of response from the kitsune who should have been beside her rendered her quite instantly wide awake. She sat up with a start and realized immediately that there was another detail her recently groggy mind, had not picked up on. There were no giant trees forming a canopy above her.
Huff stood slowly, ready to bodily tackle her likely abductor, before slowly coming to terms with the fact that she was alone in the middle of a fairly empty plain. "Oh what the hells!" She exclaimed loudly. The words carried away from her, echoing across the large, and, if she was being honest, quite beautiful expanse of grass and shrubs. As she took a step forward, another thing that had briefly escaped her notice caught her attention, a wooden sphere of what seemed to be moderately polished wood.
She stared at the sphere. The sphere obligingly continued to lie on the ground. Huff blinked. The sphere did not. The sphere jumped.
After recovering from her impromptu backwards roll, Huff looked warily at the now gently rolling wooden orb before her, and, with a decisive movement, scooped it up, holding it away from her body as she prepared to brace herself against an explosion. Instead, as her fingers squeezed the protruding edge of the ball in her hand, a welling glow spilled from the edges and floating in the air a few feet away from her head was...
"A....fetus in mint jelly?"
The small form, encased in green looked at Huff curiously. Huff glanced down at the orb in her hand, now slightly open, and muttered to herself. "Someone is storing creatures in demiplanes." followed by "But why do I have one?"
Her new floating companion did not provide an answer, but did drift over to inspect Huff's goggles.
Huff looked up at the sky, it was a subtly different color than she was used to. "Is this... even on Galn anymore?" She murmured. She was beginning to get a sinking feeling. "Oh not this again" She sighed to herself.
"Can you talk?" She asked the floating form now playfully flitting around her head. The creature made a noise. If it was words, Huff could not parse them. "Right, okay, well it seems like you can, possibly understand me?"
Another noise.
"Sure good enough. Come along then, uh.... Mint. Let's figure out what the hell is going on here." Huff said, cracking her neck and beginning to walk towards the nearest stream. Running water meant a river somewhere nearby, and a river usually meant people one way or another.
Fiddling idly with the other odd object she had found on her person, Huff wondered if perhaps she might be the only person around this place. Still, that orb seemed crafted, and that meant, hopefully, others somewhere close.
Who might she meet first?
2: Gathering Phase
Learning she was in a new world had not come as quite as much a shock to Huff as it might to most, though it did provoke a storm of curses that had left a couple of the people she had met wide eyed.
Learning that technology was, at best, limited in the area had frankly been far more of a blow. World hopping and potential death teleportation Huff had some experience with. The lack of an articulated wrench however...
Still, what had started as a point of great consternation had quickly become, well, kind of a lot of fun if the halfling was being honest with herself. Her ability to hand shape metal, rarely needed, if always convenient in her workshop, had instantly proved its utility once she had started to integrate into the settlement she had come to call, at least temporarily, home. There was barely a question as to which corps she would join, and at the end of the day, construction was as close to her skill-set as anything could be said to be.
A far more challenging puzzle came in the form of a request for new ingredients. Learning that Pokemon were essentially the core of life in this new world had given some context to the differences in both workflow and, as she was quickly learning, cuisine. The request from the affable, if annoyingly tall Benji had placed a new conundrum before her. How to harvest Combee honey. Working from the little she knew about beekeeping, Huff had to assume that the combee would not precisely appreciate a halfling just sprinting in and grabbing buckets of honey, and she was not inclined to let Mint carry the brunt of the aggression either. The little goo creature had proven quite sturdy, but she was not about to risk it’s well-being for some spare currency. More to the point, each combee was around the size of Huff’s head. Huff was confident in her durability, but getting stung or, she shook her head irritably; hit by a blast of elemental wind, would not be a good time. It was for this reason that she was now headed to the professor’s office to get more information. On the way however, something caught her attention…
1
"Greetings!" She waved, trying to catch her attention as she jogs down the hill to meet her. "Are you injured?"

Boo! Or at least, that's what the little ghost would say if it scared people like children would. The shriek of a tiny, orange ghost is hard to ignore, especially when it seems far too excited for its own good. The Rotom giggles almost manically as it zips back and forth in place, playfully trying to spook Huff.
At the craftsman's shop, there is a child with a hammer in his hands, one that's almost comically too big for him. At the shriek, he turns from the furnace, leaving his clump of iron ore crackling away in the fire.
"Ack! Twozo! Get back here!"

lup l the adventure zone
[New day, same unexplainable shit.
At this point in her ridiculously long life, Lup's lost track of how many times she's unintentionally hopped from one world to the next. Sure, there was the long ass century she spent being chased through time and space by the Hunger, but then there were the years jerked around by the turbo-liches of Hadriel, never once satisfied with letting their captives linger in one place for too long.
But even with all of her vast experience in always being on the move, this particular place already feels so vastly different to Lup. She can't quite put her finger on just why that is yet though, so maybe the woman needs to get down on a little recon mission of her own.
--So the elf is sprawled out on the ground near the entrance of the village, her Salandit laid out just as casually next to her. Though the village garb has been thrust at her, Lup has yet to change into those drab clothes, still dressed in an all too casual crop top and cut offs, the shirt text colorfully stating, 'Lich Please'.
Oh, and both the elf and her new lizard are staring right at you with the same sharp, toothy smile.]
Hey thug, you new around here too?

[Oh, you thought you'd have a peaceful day out among the Combee? Not a chance.
Out of nowhere, while you are out gathering for the big feast, the elf suddenly pops up out of nowhere and thrusts her Arc Phone into your hands. The camera app is open and she's already hopping back a few paces to strike a pose. Has she even met you before? Probably not, but Lup really doesn't care.]
Quick, get a good pic of me. I look way too hot to waste it on all on the nothingness out here. These bugs just aren't giving me the attention I deserve.
iii. good omens
[For the first time since her arrival a few days earlier, the elf isn't making herself the center of attention. She's sitting out a little further away from the crowds, head tipped back to watch the stars streaking across the sky with a far-off look, knees drawn to her chest and arms wrapped around them.
This isn't the way things were meant to go. So many of her family didn't follow her this time and Lup doesn't know how to even begin processing that loss.
Feel free to drag her out of her thoughts or just give her a little company.]

The corps have estimated his age to be around 12, determined him working age, and ultimately noted that while he would be given time to recover he should make sure to get to pulling his weight sooner rather than later. Emporio, suffice to say, has found himself even more lost than when he woke up. Finding out that the thing in the ball at his waist is apparently, to everyone, terrifying, has not eased that either.

But this time was supposed to be different. This time he was supposed to know where he's going, and now he's just prickly about the entire experience. He was supposed to be going home, and now all of this is just... happening. It's sure happening.
Despite his crabby sort of mood, he's sitting outside of what is now his new lodgings in house T, with his new Hatenna sitting next to him, as he attempts to fuss with her 'hat'.]
Seriously, is this skin? Do you just have skin shaped like a hat? That's fucked up.
[The hatenna trills back at him, and he purses his lips like he's thinking... and then proceeds to make a series of growls and grunts that make absolutely no sense at this thing. By the blank way the Pokemon is staring at him, it should be pretty evident it also doesn't know what's going on.
If you talk to him, maybe you'll find out! Or you can reprimand him for being a public nuisance. Either way, you could get an answer as to what the fuck all that is that he's still doing.]
ii. [meal prep] good gracious / when it comes, gonna be too soon, oh
[Taako is in the kitchen, almost begrudgingly. He's absolutely already had an argument with Beni about who is who's sous chef, but here he is doing prepwork anyway no matter what the outcome of that was. It's boring, but it does have to be done, so fine. Fine.
Right now, he's got two cutting boards set up- one that's being worked under his hands, and one that's right next to him being worked by a floating, almost transparent hand holding an identical knife. It does the same cuts he does with the same speed and precision, and once he's done with one fruit he'll replace the one on his board-- and on it's board-- with another and keep going. All the while, he's humming to himself, waiting to catch someone staring so he can brag at least a little bit. So whether you approach him or you're just looking from afar, eventually he'll catch your eye and give you a big, overconfident smile.]
Hey, my dude. Come here to learn from the master, because uhhh, I've got you covered.
[taako, no,]
iii. [good omens] who's that crazy cat? / he's sitting in the corner with them longing eyes
[Normal people are probably watching this from the ground, in the middle of the party, oo-ing and aah-ing at the display. Taako, on the other hand, is committed to making a nuisance of himself to try and ignore the fact that he's still a little bitter about being here. This is why he can now be found on top of someone's house, pointing at the sky.]
Hey! You see that shit?? You wanna come up here just say the word, chaboy doesn't usually do rides but I'm feeling generous tonight!
[Sorry if it's your house. He'll probably be on a couple of them before someone gets him the hell down.]
iv. [wildcard] who's that crazy cat? / i say, he looks a lot like me
[Hit me with more stuff if you've got ideas! And if you wanna plot I am reachable at

In the current moment however she was more than distracted by the sudden appearance of a shockingly peppy seeming elf on her roof.
“Hey!” She called up to him. She considered her options for a moment. “Either put me up there or come down here, There’s no wine around here and yet you are on my house, which suggests that you at least know how to actually party. Also the shingles are coming loose.”

hey wait you look like-Emporio doesn't have a lot of time to consider the fact that there's people here that are actually related to the other. ...Well. People from elsewhere, who came here, and.
He's not following that train of thought. Honestly, Emporio's potentially someone who's been notable through the past few days due to how unnoted he seems to aim to be. Not so long after being released from Medical, and the kid seemed to have decided that the middle of the road was the Worst Place To Go. Ever. Behind walls, in alleys, anywhere where the most that can be seen of him is a spec of blond, and that's where he's going.
He did, of course, eventually leave the village to try and help with gathering materials, but at the end of the day it's plain to see that Emporio is as skittish as a mouse.
Except maybe with that candle-like pokemon he occasionally had out in the night.
But that's not the case right now. Right now it's just Emporio, who had been behind the counter putting things away in quiet, and ended up slowly more visible from back there as he stared at the floating hand.
...
Because come on. It's a floating hand.
Of course, now he's also been noticed, so-] U-
Uhhhhh...
...Actually...I was just...
[................He has a feeling that just running off is not a wise move here. Unfortunately now he's just stuck in place. Hm.]
