Yuzu Hiiragi +3 | April Catch-All [Open]
Who: Yuzu Hiiragi, her three other headmates Serena, Rin, and Ruri Kurosaki... AND YOU!!
Where: Jubilife Village / Obsidian Fieldlands

What: Catch-All that was originally gonna be an event toplevel but a prompt for each girl turned out to be really long actually so I gotta use cuts but those don't work on toplevels and I'm too tired to figure out an alternative solution.
Warnings: Nothing I can think of, aside from the weirdest case of Multiple Personalities.Just how does their hair change like that!?? (I will add warnings here if it comes up)
OOC: In terms of dialogue, anything that is said out loud will have black text, and thus be the only dialogue that can be heard. If the text is colored, then it is internal and usually one of the other girls in Yuzu's head speaking inside their shared headspace, and therefore cannot be heard... unless your character can read minds. On that note:
Pink Text: Yuzu
Blue Text: Serena
Green Text: Rin
Purple Text: Ruri
Oh look at that, the colors for their text matches each of their hair colors. How convenient.
It was just while she was out on an expedition... she saw a Pokemon she had never seen before, a Gible... and it was HUGE. It hadn't noticed her, since she was in the tall grass, and it was facing away from her too. She figured it was her chance... and so, she snuck a little closer, lobbed a Pokeball... and it hit.
And by some miracle, IT ACTUALLY STAYED IN??It's the Yugioh character luck, huh.
She was elated! She actually caught it! She later found out that she'd actually just caught an ALPHA too. Things were looking up for Yuzu! Her last catch had been a particularly lazy Rowlet, after all.
Oh how naive she was... how naive everyone in her body was.
This was awful
This Gible—a girl, who she named Schuberta—was a NIGHTMARE.
They barely listened to her! When she did listen, it was a rare occurance, and the other 70% of the time, it was impossible.
None of them could control it. Serena's tough love was ignored, Rin's motherly nature was useless, and Ruri's kindness didn't seem to do much. She's had to apologize SO MANY TIMES NOW for damage that this massive unit was causing. Bite marks everywhere. Belongings irreparably damaged, work interrupted or ruined, and just in general a lot of chaos as Yuzu runs around trying to stop her and having to pay out of her own pocket to compensate for damages.
AND SOMEHOW, IT GETS WORSE!! Because she was then given an egg... which after a lot of running around with it strapped to her chest, hatched WAY faster than she could've ever expected.
And what hatched from this egg? A Munchlax.
Who at least wasn't running around biting whatever it could get it's hands on, but was instead demanding SO. MUCH. FOOD.
Fortunately, she was informed that they will literally eat anything edible, even if it's rotten. In this way, she's... managing somehow, but now she has two massive babies. One is determined to take a bite out of anything it can fit in it's mouth, and one is insistent on eating it's own weight in food every day... how is she expected to continue feeding this thing consistently!?
And don't even get her started on a potential evolution... she's heard about Snorlax's, another member of the Survey Corps clicking their tongue and remarking about how if she thinks it's hard now, it'd be worse when it evolved.
You can catch her sitting at a bench outside, Schuberta is next to her and currently chewing up a metallic rod she managed to get ahold of... which is at least taking some time for the Gible to get through. Her Munchlax—named Benkei—meanwhile is also next to her, sitting on the ground and currently digging into a pile of various berries, foods, and whatever she could grab that was edible...
Her hair is frazzled and a bit of a mess, and she looks so tired. ]
Rin, however, wanted desperately to do the things that the Construction Corps were doing. She was a mechanic, damn it! Well, a self-taught mechanic, but she and Yugo still managed to put together a damn good D-Wheel!!
...which, speaking of, is part of the reason for her desperation. She didn't mind going on surveys when she was in control, but...
She doesn't remember a lot from the time in which she was brainwashed by the Parasite Fusioners, none of them do... but there's one memory that is for some reason abundantly clear in her head. Unfortunately for her, it's a memory that leaves her with nothing but regrets.
Even if Yugo isn't here, even if she doesn't have the technology necessary to make a proper D-Wheel... she wants to try anyway, even if it's just a regular motorcycle.
That being said, it's much harder for Rin to get ahold of some of the things she needs, especially since she'll be building from scratch... and when she does ask for stuff like that from the Supply Corps... she gets a strange look sent her way and a question of what the heck a Survey Corps member like her would need with parts like this.
It's really not anything she personally wants to deal with. Her natural distrust toward most adults certainly doesn't help... she understands they probably aren't bad people, but she can't help the instinctive wariness that she's built up over years of her life as a Commons.
Unfortunately this does mean that right off the bat she's at a roadblock. If she can't get parts she'd have to make them herself, but because she's not part of the Construction Corps, she barely has any equipment that's necessary to even get things done.
Still, she doesn't want to just sit around and do nothing but think about how the heck she's gonna be able to get anything about her little project done, so she'll just... try and sketch up some potential blueprints. At the very least she's good at that, unlike Yugo.
She's sitting on the wooden walkway just outside the door to the building... just in order to get some fresh air. She also has the Rowlet Ruri begged Yuzu to catch out, currently perched and sleeping on her shoulder as she sits with numerous large pieces of paper around her and a pencil.
There are... quite a lot actually. Blueprints of what's clearly a motorcycle, though each paper has a different potential design. Some of them are extremely flashy while others are incredibly simple... in which Rin is trying to come up with something while keeping the current time period in mind. Something as unique as Yugo's design for their D-Wheel simply doesn't feel possible in the grand scheme of things... though she does still want something at least a little similar.
Maybe you're curious about what she's so focused on... or maybe you're curious about how Yuzu suddenly changed her hairstyle so dramatically suddenly. ]
Mostly being that she considered their shared body to be too out of shape. Though she unfortunately lacks what she considers ideal workout clothes, she's insisted that their mornings involve a workout routine every day, and she would not budge on this. See, it was the "every day" part that turned even Yuzu off of the idea... but eventually they agreed, so long as Serena agreed to do it herself, since they were sharing the body and all.
Listen, none of them have a problem with staying fit, but only Serena wants to get up at the crack of dawn.
So, while the rest of the girls continue to snooze within their shared consciousness, Serena is up just before the sun starts to rise. No sports bras or shorts, so she'll just make do with a sarashi wrap and some cropped bottoms. Is this perhaps a little... scandalous, considering the time period? Maybe, but hardly anyone is up aside from some night shift Security Corps members. Still, in the first place, Serena never even considers that it might be an issue anyways.
It was just a simple workout. First she warms up with some stretches, then Serena runs a number of laps around the village, already intent on working up a sweat. Then she stops at the training grounds, it being a good place to do the rest... even if it is usually used for training Pokemon. She's grateful that they're letting her come in to use the place so early.
Now she starts on various other exercises... push-ups, sit-ups, and so on. After going until she reaches a high number on each exercise, and then she moves onto some weights that are available in the dojo... sometimes used by Pokemon, but no reason that Serena can't use them either! Except the particularly heavy ones, unfortunately... which she's frustrated about but even she doesn't expect herself to surpass some of the larger Pokemon in physical strength.
After she's thoroughly worked herself to what she believes to be satisfactory, then that's it for the morning. Serena returns to the apartments and takes a nice long bath. Not even Serena wants to be drenched and smelling like sweat all day, but even if she didn't care, the other girls were very adamant about washing off every time.
In any case, she's in the middle of this routine right now... maybe at some point you're up this early and you get to catch her during her laps around the village. Yuzu with yet another hairstyle, huh? Didn't peg her for the type that's this sporty, huh? ]
Though, that being said... maybe it's something about Ruri's general vibes, but Pokemon tend to be more... docile around her. Serena got attacked once by a Shinx just for getting too close, and yet when Ruri comes across a Shinx... they just coo and rub up against her leg.
When it came to small Pokemon, Ruri was evidently as close as anyone could get to a Disney Princess. All she needs is a beautiful field of flowers for Pokemon to then kindly flock around her.
...that being said, it doesn't work 100% of the time, such as right now! Alpha's seem to be resistant to the Ruri effect, evidently. ]

[ Such as this very angry Alpha Rapidash, who saw Ruri getting close to a stray Ponyta and immediately decided to charge at her. They didn't have much on their team that could do much to fend off this massive fire horse, but Schuberta was their best bet... even if it refuses to listen and instead to her own thing.
Evidently, it... didn't go well. Schuberta put up a good fight, but at the same time listened to none of Ruri's commands. Perhaps they could've chased the Rapidash off if she did, but a constant and repeated frontal assault didn't end well... and Ruri barely managed to escape through the use of a Pokeball and a smoke bomb... returning the injured Pokemon back to their ball so that they could flee.
Now she's in a relatively safe place... far from that Rapidash and breathing heavily... though unfortunately not yet at the base camp. She can get there once she finishes resting, but Schuberta ended up badly hurt after that battle... she can't just keep him like that!
So there's Ruri, under a tree in the Obsidian Fieldlands doing her absolute best to treat a very large and injured Gible, putting ointment from some Potions on their injuries and burns. ]
Here, eat this...

[ She has utterly no idea how, but somehow, certain berries can help speed along healing... hence the Oran Berry she just fed the land shark. ]
Aah... we're out of potions...!

[ Rin understood why Yuzu chose to join the Survey Corps. It appealed to the majority of the girls' strengths. Yuzu and Serena were physically fit and suited to the job. Ruri is fine with it too, even if she did want to join the Medical Corps instead.Rin, however, wanted desperately to do the things that the Construction Corps were doing. She was a mechanic, damn it! [4] Ruri's Dilemma

[ Ah, she went and mentioned it... since nobody knows about duels here, they had all agreed to not really bring it up and confuse anybody... but as Rin talked, memories of when she and Yugo were building their D-Wheel... Rin timing the speed of his laps, making sure that the machine ran perfectly for Yugo to handle.
Sure, she knows that in terms of win-percentage, she's better than Yugo... in fact, most of their duels end with Rin's victory, but that was just because Yugo sometimes wouldn't take things seriously.
The D-Wheel was meant for him not just because he was the one who suggested it, or because he was the first one to have the dream that they came to share together.
No, him being a dumbass aside... she considered his potential to be greater than her own. ]
